The Half Marathon Firenze will be held on Sunday, April 7th 2019.
Uisp Firenze, organizer of the event, confirmed the spring event.
The half marathon of Florence is by now a classic road race: every year professionals and fans of running choose to run the distance of 21.097 km between the streets and the squares of the city of lily. Over the years, the event has became an increasingly international run and has entered fully into the unmissable events in Europe.

Runners from all over Italy and abroad participate in the event. They experience a journey full of artistic beauty. It is the perfect opportunity for an exciting race to be tackled with a serious athletic preparation and a special workout, which can give great satisfaction also in terms of performance.

At the same time the April race is also a moment for those approaching the world of running and for those who decide to face interesting distances, to get involved and have fun according to the idea that Uisp has about sport. The slogan of this 36th edition “My run, my fun” shows the right attitude to face a half marathon: sweat, effort but always with a smile.

Also this year the partnership between Half Marathon Florence and Diadora has been confirmed. The sportswear company will be the technical sponsor of the event and will make the official shirt.

In addition to the half marathon, on April 7th, there will be other options to get involved and move: with the run “two for one” (21,097km run in two), the non-competitive 8km and a charity race for children and families dedicated to raising funds to donate them to an association of the territory.

Registration will open on November 13th.
