The 37th edition of the Half Marathon Firenze is postponed. At the moment the new date of the race scheduled on April 5th is being defined.

The decision was taken by UISP – Unione Italia Sport per Tutti, organizer of the event, in the face of the health emergency that Italy and the all world is facing, and is part of the wider context of measures to fight and contain Covid-19, in compliance with the recommendations of the World Health Organization. Due to the international dimension of the event, where athletes from over 40 nations come to Florence every year, Uisp has decided to postpone the event out of a sense of responsibility and in order to protect collective health.

Hoping to quickly overcome this difficult moment, Uisp is already at work and is discussing with the administrative bodies of the city of Florence to identify a new date that will be communicated as soon as possible through the media, the official website and the social media channels of the event.

HALF MARATHON – RUN IN 2 – NON COMPETITIVE 8km and WALK/RUN 5km 

THE REGISTRATIONS MADE FOR THE DATE OF APRIL 5th 2020 ARE AUTOMATICALLY TRANSFERRED TO A NEW DATE IN 2020

THE REGISTRATION FEE MAY BE USED TO CARRY OUT THE FOLLOWING TRANSITIONAL ACTIONS:

– TRANSFER TO ANOTHER PERSON THE REGISTRATION MADE FOR APRIL 5th, 2020 ON THE NEW 2020 DATE

To TRANSFER your registration to another person it is necessary to send within 10 days before the date of the event, an e-mail to info@halfmarathonfirenze.it with your data and those of the person to whom it is transferred: name, surname and date of birth attaching the required documentation.

– TRANSFER THE REGISTRATION MADE FOR APRIL 5th, 2020 TO THE 2021 EDITION.

To TRANSFER your registration to the 2021 edition you must send within 30 days before the date of the 2020 event an e-mail to info@halfmarathonfirenze.it with your data: name, surname and date of birth.

– TRANSFER TO ANOTHER PERSON THE REGISTRATION MADE FOR APRIL 5th, 2020 TO THE 2021 EDITION.

In order to TRANSFER your registration to another person for the 2021 edition it is necessary to send within 10 days before the date of the 2020 event, an e-mail to info@halfmarathonfirenze.it indicating your data and those of the person to whom it is transferred: name, surname and date of birth attaching the required documentation.
