The Half Marathon Firenze, scheduled for April 11th and postponed to next autumn due to Covid, becomes a Virtual Run: it will be run remotely between the 10th and the 11th of April.

Uisp Italian Association Sport for All – Committee of Florence , the organiser of the event, is launching this formula to allow everyone to take part in the sport event, even though from a distance, while waiting to return to compete in the squares and streets of the Tuscan capital on October 31st.

Participation in the HMF Virtual Run is very simple: just register on the website www.halfmarathonfirenze.it by April 9th. Participation is free of charge. Once you have registered, you can run the 21.097 kilometres on 10 or 11 April wherever and whenever you like (in compliance with the anti-covidium regulations). At the end of the race, all you have to do is take a picture of your GPS with the race data and a selfie, and send the pictures via WhatsApp to +39 3519911959 with your name, surname and city. The pictures must be sent by April 12th at 2PM.

The winners will be announced on April 20th.

Prizes will be awarded to the first 3 of each category: Absolute M/F, Veterans M/F, Gold M/F, Silver M/F and for the first 5 sport companies with the most participants (Pieroni Trophy). The first classified will receive the cup while the others will receive gadgets.

For organisational reasons, registration must be made individually, indicating the company to which the runner belongs for the relative classification.
