Sunday 6 April 2025 the Florence Half Marathon will be run in pairs over the distance of 21.097 km with the “mezzaperuno”.

General information
Competitors will have the same bib number, except for the letters A and B to indicate who runs the first and second leg of the race, and will be able to exchange chips only in the specially set up area. There will be special rankings for the competing couples: half-man for a couple, man-man, woman-woman and half-man for a mixed couple.

Participation Requirements
The MEZZAPERUNO is open to Italian and foreign athletes who must demonstrate at the time of registration that they:
Be regularly registered with UISP, or FIDAL, or FOREIGN ATHLETICS FEDERATIONS or SPORTS PROMOTION BODIES and in compliance with the health regulations for the practice of competitive athletics.
OR IF NOT MEMBER in any case the athlete must be in compliance with the health regulations for the practice of competitive athletics.
The organization will only accept registrations received with original forms filled out completely and legibly accompanied by the relevant payment and documentation requested above within the established deadlines. Participation in any capacity of athletes NOT REGISTERED and/or lacking the certified health requirements (competitive sports medical certificate) is not permitted.

Athletes from foreign countries
Athletes coming from foreign countries must bring a copy of the medical sports certification in force in their country or a card from the local federation or alternatively fill out the health certificate.
